Detailed Itinerary

The journey, in full

Our Bike Tour Buenos Aires North for cruise passengers will begin by the pick up at the ship pier at 1.15pm to head to San Telmo, one of the oldest parts of the city which is known for its colonial architecture. We’ll start off by heading to the newest barrio in the city, Puerto Madero, which is also the most visited part of the city. The old docks have been converted into restaurants, lofts and offices with amazing views of the city and the Río de La Plata. Next, we’ll cycle over to the traditional yet sophisticated area of Recoleta. Full of grand mansions, luxury hotels and embassies, the buildings in this barrio combine both 20th Century European architectural style with some more spacious, modern designs. Here we’ll be able to see the Iglesia del Pilar and the stunning Cementerio de la Recoleta (where the remains of Eva Perón and other important figures in Argentine history lie), as well as exclusive shops, parks and cultural spots such as museums, libraries and other monuments. We’ll move on to the beautiful Palermo, an important tourist barrio where you can take in the green spaces, bustling streets and residential areas. We’ll cycle into the area of Palermo Chico and visit the Palermo Woods, the biggest park in the city with several squares and lakes. You’ll also be able to see the Rosedal, the Buenos Aires zoo, Plaza Italia and the Planetario Galileo Galilei, among other attractions. Our guide will stop at the most important places to tell you about their history and significance in Buenos Aires, as well as to give you some time to rest and take photos. After a lovely afternoon spent out in fresh air and full of history and amazing views, we’ll bring the tour to a close at our office in San Telmo.
