5-Hour National Park + City tour - USHUAIA (Private Tour) This tour begins at the Tourist pier. We will travel along Maipu Avenue to see different points of interest like the Civic Square, where the national flag was hoisted for the first time, the old Government House, Nuestra Señora de la Merced old Church; all buildings known for their architecture and history. Afterwards, we will cross a narrow path up to the old airport from where we will enjoy a panoramic view of the city and the mountain range that surrounds it. We continue through the "La Mision" neighborhood and the old airport where we will stop for scenic pictures from the beach, with an awesome view of the city located between the mountains and the sea. Our next point of interest will be the Las Hayas Hotel viewpoint in the middle of the mountain, where we will enjoy an amazing panoramic view of Ushuaia Bay, the Beagle Channel, the harbor, and the Industrial neighborhood. Later we will drive to the national park stopping at Ensenada Bay where the End of the World Post Office is located. Here tourists have the chance to stamp their passports as souvenirs. Then we will head towards the Roca Lake, where guests can take a peaceful and charming walk around part of the lake while taking magnificent photos. After a short stroll, we will arrive at a coffee shop where you will be able to purchase hot chocolate and/or snacks while enjoying the panoramic view of the mountains, forest, and rivers( I suggest you bring at least USD 20 for a snack at this stop ). After our stop, we will cross the Lapataia River, visiting the Cormoranes Archipelago, the Green Lagoon, and the Ovando River. Finally, we will drive to Lapataia Bay, the end of the Panamerican Highway, where we will see the famous Alaskan mileage -marker sign before returning to the ship. Your tour will include a few " LOW IMPACT " guided walks of 15 minutes each, a 30-minute coffee break, with the remainder of the time in our comfortable van with your amazing guide. At the end of the tour you may ask the guide to be dropped off at any of the museums located close to the port or in the downtown if you wish.
