Detailed Itinerary

The journey, in full

When you land after a roughly two-hour flight, you will meet your guide and board a private vehicle equipped with air conditioning to head to Iguazu National Park while your guide provides you an overview of the region. After a 15-minute drive, you will arrive at the visitors center at the entrance of Iguazú National Park and skip the line with your reserved tickets. First, you will go to the Nature Interpretation Center to learn more about the foundation of the park and its local flora and fauna. Then, you will jump aboard the park train with your guide, stopping at the Cataratas Station after an eight-minute trip. If you prefer, you can also get to the station on foot, following the green path towards the Upper and Lower trails. While you walk along the path, you will be amazed by the magnitude of the waterfalls on the Argentinian side. The trails are perfectly placed and easy to walk, offering visitors spectacular views of this natural wonder. At midday, follow your guide to the food center and enjoy a little rest and lunch (not included) before taking the train to the Garganta del Diablo Station, further into the forest. Garganta del Diablo (The Devil’s Throat) is the biggest fall in Iguazu National Park, and the catwalks take you right on top of it! Be surprised and amazed by the strength and volume of water, which creates a permanent fog above the fall. Since this is a private tour, you can determine the order in which you’d like to view the park’s attractions and set the pace that suits you. After spending a day being astonished by the park’s many falls and discovering more about this natural treasure, your guide will take you back to the Puerto Iguazu Airport in a private vehicle to take your flight back to Buenos Aires. End of services.

The day at the falls exceeded our expectations! The drivers and guide were wonderful, knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Seeing the falls with someone so knowledgeable made it a magical day. The guide also adapted the experience to our ability. This was truly a day custom made for us, nothing cookie cutter about it! We highly recommend this experience!

Driver arrived in the morning and evening on time. The trip to the falls went smooth via airlines. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and understanding. We had plenty of time to walk around and take the hikes and boat tour up the falls. We could have caught the earlier flight home and suggest that the wait time for the return trip is reduced by one hour and take the earlier flight.
