What your day looks like
Discover the vineyards of the Mendoza wine region on this full-day guided tour. Learn about the winemaking process by visiting three different wineries in the Luján de Cuyo and Maipú regions, always accompanied by an expert wine guide. Located 20 km from the city of Mendoza and at the foot of the Andes Mountains, these two wine-growing regions congregate the majority of the province`s wineries and are the place where the history of Mendoza winegrowing began. Known as one of the world wine capitals, this is a mandatory experience for those who visit Mendoza, to learn about wines, vineyards and enjoy the already classic gourmet lunches, paired with the winery`s labels. The tour includes all wine-tastings, a gourmet lunch, and round-trip transportation to your hotel.

Detailed Itinerary
The journey, in full
In the morning an expert guide will pick you up from your hotel in the center of Mendoza to travel to the most recognized wine regions of South America. You will arrive in Luján de Cuyo, in the high valley of Mendoza, where the Chardonnay, Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes thrive at 1,000 meters above sea level. This is where the fascinating day of wine tours in Mendoza begins. After a short trip, arrive at your first stop, an industrial winery, where you will have the opportunity to wander through the vineyards and enjoy an expertly led tasting. Starting with the world famous Malbec from Argentina, you will also learn about other grapes grown in the region, such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo and Chardonnay. You will continue to a boutique winery for the second wine tasting and where a different side of the region`s wine production will be observed, since you will be able to see the differences between industrial wine production and a smaller scale with artisan processes. Upon arrival at the third and last winery, the host will be waiting to welcome you to enjoy a delicious gourmet lunch inside the winery, paired with their own labels. At each winery you will learn the details of the different stories and methods involved in their various approaches to winemaking. Depending on availability, the options of wineries to visit will be Lunlunta, Fray Luis Beltrán in the Department of Maipú and Perdriel, Agrelo, Alto Agrelo and the Vistalba Valley in Luján de Cuyo. Your wine tasting day ends with the return to your hotel in Mendoza.
