What your day looks like
The best Rafting in Mendoza starts in the Andes Mountains based in Potrerillos, with a safety briefing and an introductory rafting course. After we supply the necessary equipment, the descent starts through the rapids of the Mendoza river. There are 10 rapids class III plus 5 rapids class II, surrounded by the beautiful landscape of the Andes Mountains. The Mendoza river is a giant cut open between the mountains, its walls were 65 million years ago, ancient beaches inhabited by prehistoric animals. The rafting starts in the Base (International Route 7) and ends 12 kms downstream in the place called Potrerillos Lake. The trip back to the base takes 20 minutes in our vehicles. The trips are led by guides with international Rescue Certification and accompanied by kayakers security.
