Although the tour is self-guided, we offer the option to include a specialized mountain guide for an additional cost.

Detailed Itinerary

The journey, in full

Hotel Pickup: We begin your adventure with a comfortable pickup from your accommodation. During the journey, you will travel along the legendary Route 40, where you will have the chance to appreciate local wildlife and, if the conditions allow, a magnificent sunrise over the hills. Pre-Trek Preparation: Upon arrival in El Chaltén, you will receive an introductory talk, detailed maps, and trekking poles to ensure an optimal experience. To Laguna Capri: The first section of the trail will take you through a lush forest to Laguna Capri. Here, you will encounter panoramic views of Mount Fitz Roy and a breathtaking natural setting. Crossing the Río Blanco and Poincenot Camp: You will cross a picturesque bridge and immerse yourself in a completely wild environment as you reach the Poincenot Camp. Ascent to Laguna de los Tres: This is the most challenging section, but also the most rewarding. The views are unparalleled, with panoramic views of the Mother and Daughter Lagoons, which you will enjoy from the heights. The Summit Awaits: Once you overcome the final 300 meters of ascent, you will be rewarded with an indescribable scene: Laguna de los Tres in all its splendor, a testament to the majesty of nature.
