Fall in love with the Floralis Generica, an imposing 20 meters high sculpture that dominates the United Nations Square in the Recoleta neighborhood. Donated to the City of Buenos Aires by its author the Argentine architect Eduardo Catalano, it is made of stainless steel and aluminum and weighs 18 tons. It was the first sculpture in a movement controlled by a hydraulic system and photoelectric cells. Its name, "Floralis Generica", is a tribute to all flowers. It is about the projection of a dream of its creator, that of building a structure on a large scale that reflects the dynamism of our time.
