This tour package in Salta and Jujuy is the perfect way to explore both provinces through three full-day excursions. You’ll need at least 3 days, as each excursion lasts approximately 12 hours, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the landscapes, culture, and highlights of the region without rushing. This combo includes visits to Cafayate, featuring the stunning Quebrada de las Conchas and a local winery; Purmamarca and the iconic Cerro de los Siete Colores; the impressive Salinas Grandes via the scenic Cuesta de Lípan; and the beautiful Quebrada de Humahuaca, with stops in Tilcara, Maimará, and the Tropic of Capricorn. Your day, step by step
Cafayate
Sightseeing. Day 1 - Cafayate Valle de Lerma: Visit the winegrowing center of the province, crossing Las Conchas gorge. Route: National Road 68 (Wine Route); Lerma Valley (Cerrillos, La Merced, El Carril, Coronel Moldes, La Viña (technical stop) Quebrada del Rio de las Conchas: The erosion in the region has formed a succession of natural wonders such as The Devil's Throat, a deep and closed canyon. The Anfitheatre (with perfect natural acoustics). The Toad, The Friar, The Obelisk, The Castles. Little by little, the aridity of the landscape is replaced by large areas of vineyards to reach one of the most outstanding regions within the Calchaquíes Valleys: Cafayate, a town of one-story houses between colonial and baroque from the late 19th century. Quebrada de las Conchas: More than 10 stops in multicolored formations caused by wind and water erosion such as La Garganta del Diablo, El Amphitheater, La Yesera, Las Ventanas, Los Castillos, etc. Cafayate: In Cafayate, you will have the chance to visit a winery and taste the best wines in the area. Although the region always refers to Torrontés, the place has a large number of hectares dedicated to red grapes such as Malbec, Tannat or Cabernet Sauvignon. Visit Cafayate city and a winery. We'll have 2 free hours in the city to have lunch and explore. Town of one-story houses between colonial and baroque architecture from the late 19th century. (Lunch and drinks are NOT included in the price) Quebrada del Rio de las Conchas: We returned to Salta through the Quebrada de las Conchas through Route 68, making the stops we missed on the outward journey and traveling through this beautiful, unique landscape of Argentina. Valle de Lerma: Before arriving in the city of Salta we make a technical stop in La Viña or Talapampa to buy a snack or go to the bathroom.

Humahuaca
Sightseeing. Day 2- Humahuaca Salta: We leave from the city of Salta to San Salvador de Jujuy. We will have technical stops so that passengers can go to the bathroom or buy a snack. Volcan: Technical stop to take advantage and go to the bathroom and buy supplies. Purmamarca: We visit the hill of the 7 colors, one of the most characteristic towns of the Humahuaca ravine Tilcara: Visit to the town of Tilcara, where the Pucará is located Uquia: Visit to the village church and the ceramics factory. Humahuaca: Two free hours in the iconic town of La Quebrada to have lunch and tour the town Paleta Del Pintor: Photographic visit to the Palettes of the Painter Tropico de Capricornio Photographic visit to the Tropic of Capricorn Tumbaya: Technical stop to take advantage and go to the bathroom and buy supplies. Salta: We return to the city of Salta crossing the last part of the Quebrada de Humahuaca and its landscapes. We have technical stops along the way if you want to go to the bathroom, buy something to eat or drink.

Sightseeing at Salinas Grandes. Day 3- Salinas Grandes Salta: We will leave from the city of Salta, leaving through the central access of the city, taking the RN 9 and then entering the municipality of General Güemes, through the RN 34. Later we enter the province of Jujuy, where we will have the opportunity to know a little piece of the Quebrada de Humahuaca, passing through picturesque towns such as Yala, Volcán (technical stop) and Purmamarca where we will find the majestic Cerro de los 7 Colores Quebrada de Humahuaca: We make a small technical stop so that passengers can go to the bathroom or buy some type of snack. Purmamarca: First stop in the town of Purmamarca to have a panoramic photo from the route, in front of the town, since the position of the sun in the morning radically changes its colors. In this first stop, we will be approximately 20 minutes. Cuesta de Lipan: We enter the incredible Cuesta de Lipán, where we will take 4,170 meters above sea level and we will be able to appreciate its spectacular flora and fauna. It is a winding high mountain road, majestic with its green and brown colors showing us the beautiful landscapes of the puna. Salinas Grandes: We arrive at the third largest salt flat in Latin America where we will be between 45 minutes to 1 hour free, to be able to tour the salt pools, sculptures, salt restaurant and take incredible photos in this huge salt flat in northern Argentina. The Hill of Seven Colors: We return to Purmamarca and they will be able to enjoy 2 free hours to tour the beautiful town and have lunch. Imposing hill of 7 colors nestled in the heart of town with its narrow, cobbled streets and adobe and mud houses. Salta: We return to the city of Salta crossing the last of the Quebrada de Humahuaca and its landscapes. We have technical stops along the way in case you want to go to the bathroom, buy something to eat or drink.
