Puerto Iguazu
Sightseeing at Iguazú National Park. Full Day Tour Argentine Side of Falls: Walk the paths and bridges of the splendid Iguazú National Park and be amazed by the surrounding virgin lush vegetation and its amazing flora and fauna. Take a bath at the falls while trekking the upper and lower walks. Enjoy a ride on the ecological train and walk along a path that takes you to the imposing Devil’s Throat canyon. If you're brave enough to go on a motorboat on the Iguazú River, you get an unforgettable panoramic view of the falls and ending with a “shower” under them! (optional). Go through the rainforest in open-top 4x4 trucks, which is perfect for picture taking. (Optional)

Optional Navigation requirements: Have full autonomy, going up and down to 300 mts of stairs and withstand sudden movements. This was called a 3 day tour, but the tour was only for 2 days. the 3rd day I had to vacate my hotel room by 11 am and they had scheduled a return flight to Bueno Aires at 9PM - a total waste of a day of my holiday.

The tour and tour guide (Sandra) were great, as was the driver who transported us between the Hilton BA and the airport. We were very happy with everything but our hotel The hotel was definitely NOT the “four star’ hotel promised. The rooms were spartan at best, with old furniture and bathrooms that desperately needed updating.

The first day on the Brazil side of the falls was great as we were in a small group with a very good guide. The second day on the Argentina side was in a much larger group of 30 and although the guide did her best she had to constantly herd people and then did not have time for explanations about what we were seeing. The accomodation at La Cantera is very tired and old and we had to eat there as there was no way to travel anywhere else. The food and wine were expensive and average at best. We enjoyed the tour and Claudia from the Buenos Aires office was wonderful and responsive to all requests.
